Teachers attracting teachers

Thought-provoking questions and classroom conversations. High-fives and hugs. Support and smiles. One of our latest projects encourages teachers to join the ranks of a highly-qualified, deeply caring faculty.

Think back to when you were in school, to the teachers you really connected with, those who helped you grasp a challenging concept or planted the seeds of inspiration for what eventually became your career.

In honor of those who stand alongside students and lead them to success, we’ve created a video package to showcase outstanding teachers and increase the number of employment applications submitted to Guilford County Schools. When GCS came to us requesting support for recruiting outstanding educators, we knew that GCS, like all school districts, must combat a number of employee recruiting challenges and ensure prospective teachers that this is a place where they will be respected, valued and make a deep impact for students.

So we stepped inside GCS classrooms and captured teachers working their magic for kids, through engaging learning activities and with a deep sense of dedication and care.

The video above appears on the GCS careers home page to show teachers what it is like to be a member of the Guilford County Schools team. Through this video, and shorter cuts that we created for digital hiring ads (see 2 of the 6 ads below), we partnered with Guilford County Schools to attract dedicated professionals who have an undeniable calling to teach and want to commit their passion and knowledge to our kids and our community.

At a time when schools nationally are facing teacher shortages, GCS is a district that fosters a strong bond between student and teacher, values what teachers bring to the classroom, and sets the stage for students to thrive. The district also emphasizes the importance of fostering a sense of teamwork and belonging in which faculty, staff and administrative members uplift one another. In partnership with Guilford County Schools, our video work showcases that environment for prospective teachers and helps strengthen our schools with outstanding hires.
