At the start of a new year, many people create a focus word to serve as their theme for the coming months.
This year, and every year, our word is “Listen.”
Whether we are in Discovery, conducting a video interview, collaborating with clients, or on a photo shoot “listening with our eyes,” we lean in to capture what our clients have to share with the world — and we’re always inspired.
May we all push past the chaos of the world by listening to better understand. Listening for what really matters. Listening to the stories of people helping people. Every day it energizes us to hear what our clients are doing to educate, heal others, protect the earth, and create new possibilities. Their stories give us a sense of optimism for the future. May they do the same for you.

Andrea Crossley Spencer is Co-founder and Director of Creative Writing at Tigermoth Creative. Her 20-year copywriting career spans advertising agencies and higher education, with a focus on brand messaging and fundraising. A fiction writer on the side, Andrea is represented by Copps Literary Services. She teaches writing workshops to young writers in local schools.
