Welcome to the TMC Interview! What attracted you to Tigermoth Creative?
Storytelling has always captivated me, especially through the medium of film. When I heard about the creative and dynamic projects Tigermoth Creative works on, I knew I had to be a part of it. The team’s ability to bring out the unique story in every project and create a fun, welcoming environment is truly inspiring. I’m thrilled to join a company that values connection and creativity as much as I do.
How do you spend your free time outside of Tigermoth?
My ideal day involves exploring the great outdoors. I love hiking and camping, which I prefer to call exploring. Whether it’s the Redwoods, the Grand Canyon, or even just the local trails, I find peace and inspiration in all my adventures.
Favorite movie and why?
I could talk about my favorite movies till the end of time, but to save you from that, I’ll narrow it down to one. My current favorite movie is “Into the Wild.” I’m drawn to this story because I believe it resonates with many people. It captures some of life’s most profound moments while showcasing the beauty of the world. What makes it even more compelling is that it’s based on a true story. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it, although, fair warning, it’s a tearjerker.
In what way is your love for movies similar to what you do as an intern here?
Just like our clients, who aim to make the world better, movies inspire and connect people. As a young intern here, I’m excited to use my passion for storytelling to empower our clients’ voices and create meaningful connections through our branding and storytelling approach.
Where would you take the Tigermoth team out to dinner?
If I could take the team out for dinner anywhere, I’d choose my favorite college spot, City Dogs in Richmond! It’s a casual sit-down hot dog bar with a menu featuring 15 different hot dogs from 15 different cities, each representing the unique taste and style that made it famous. It’s the perfect place to enjoy cheap, delicious food, have some ice-cold drinks, and unwind after a long day of work.
Who is one of the most important people in your life?
My older brother Aidan. Aidan has always been more than just a brother to me; he’s been a great role model and friend. Growing up in a single-parent household, I often looked to him for guidance and support. At times, we disagreed and fought, but as I got older, I realized he was always looking out for me. Aidan’s influence and care have shaped who I am today, and I’m incredibly grateful to have him in my life.
What is one quote that has stuck with you?
“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.” – Life magazine (movie: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty)
